Today CHS hosted the 1st Annual Tom Wheeler Invitational on the new track! We would like everyone to know that the track is available for the community to use. The rules are posted below! Please abide by the rules so we can keep our track nice! Enjoy! 🧡💙
The Boys Track Team will be in action today as we will be hosting the 1st Annual Tom Wheeler Invitational. Our Bearcats will be competing with Goreville, Hamilton Co., Johnston City, Sesser-Valier-Waltonville, Webber Township, and West Frankfort. Field Events will begin at 4:00 with Running Events scheduled to begin at 4:45.

The Lady Bearcats Track & Field Team is back in action today as they will take part in the West Frankfort Invite at 3:30 PM.
The ZRC Baseball and Softball Teams are back in action today as they will travel to Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School in Centralia to take on the Silver Stallions in non-conference action. First pitch for both games is 4:30 PM
On Friday April 11th, our welding students competed at the Annual Rend Lake College Welding Competition. In the Senior Division, Alex Peyton placed 1st Overall. Bradden Mays placed 2nd, Jeffrey Furlow 4th, and Jesse Fenoglio 7th. In the Junior Division, Gunnar Battaglia placed 1st Overall and Landen Butler placed 2nd.

The Baseball and Softball Teams will travel to Trico today to take on the Pioneers in games that were Postponed yesterday due to weather. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 PM.

They will be competing with the other welders from local high schools.

The ZRC Softball and Baseball Teams are back in action today as they open up Black Diamond Conference - West Division play as the Trico Pioneers come to town. Both games are scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM at Zeigler-Royalton High School.
CHS will be hosting the 1st Annual Tom Wheeler Invitational Boys Track Meet on Thursday April 17th. Fast Cats Timing will be selling T-Shirts for $20 and they will be Pre-Order ONLY. The orders are due on Sunday April 13th.
The Franklin County Art Show will be held at Zeigler-Royalton High School Gym this Thursday, April 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This show will feature artwork from our CHS art students as well as students from the other five Franklin County High Schools. Awards will be presented at 6:30 PM. You are invited to the show to support our CHS Art Students.
